As I was thinking about what to blog about today, I couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed. Not only are the seniors gone, but the school year for us juniors is quickly wrapping up too. While I’m so very ready for summer break, the thought of returning as a senior is completely and utterly indescribable!
For so many years, we all woke up and wished for an extra five minutes to sleep, counted down the days until summer break, and definitely let it be known how much we really didn’t want to be at school. But honestly, it’s the life we’ve come to know. It’s the thing we’ve been doing for twelve years straight.
So what happens next? Well everyone has to make their own decisions, as I’m sure if you talked to any senior they would tell you about all of the decisions and choices they’ve encountered this year. For us, this is our time to shine! To finish our junior year on a strong note, have the BEST summer of our lives, and come back next year ready to give it our all!
Looking back and reflecting on this year has shown me not only how much I’ve grown as an individual, but how much my classmates have grown and matured as well. I’m eager to see what another year of growth and maturation will do for us!
